Clark Strong in Clippers 9-3 Victory over South Range

Columbiana (18-5) traveled to Canfield on Wednesday to take on South Range (15-5) in a non-conference tilt.  The Clippers fell behind early 2-0 but used a 4 run third inning to take the lead for good in its 9-3 victory.  Jake Clark (4-2) got the start and was strong in his five innings of work.  Clark gave up two runs (one earned) on five hits while walking just one and striking out ten.

Offensively, Columbiana was led by Mitch Davidson who was 2-3 on the day with a triple, two rbi, three runs scored and a walk.  Zach Fahs and Chase Franken also collected two hits apiece.  Keenan Green ripped a double and knocked in two on the day and AJ Perkins added a hit and rbi for the Clippers.

Columbiana will face United tomorrow at Firestone Park.  First pitch is scheduled for 5 pm.
