It was a tough one for the JV squad against Beaver Local as errors got in the way. But, the pitchers, freshmen Carson Chaney and Carter Griffith did only surrender a combined 4 earned runs. Each would go 3 innings, with Chaney striking out 2 and Griffith striking out 3.
Ashton McCullough, sophomore Ayden Dennison, Chaney, and freshman Stephen Varkony each recorded singles in the game. Chaney drove in 2 and scored a run. McCullough and Varkony each had an RBI and a run scored. Dennison crossed the plate once. Sophomore Thatcher Smith also had an RBI and scored a run. Griffith scored 2 runs, and fellow freshman Jacob Conway scored once. Freshman Roman Sanfrey stole a base.
