Warriors Best Clippers on Friday Afternoon

The Clippers (4-6) traveled to Beloit on Friday afternoon and fell to the West Branch Warriors (6-5) by a 12-2 score.  The Clippers fell behind 5-0 in the first inning and were never able to recover.  With the score 9-2 in the sixth the Warriors plated 3 runs with two outs to close out the game.

Offensively, the Clipper managed 3 hits, 2 walks and where hit by 2 pitches.  Zach Pleska led the way with 2 hits including a double and an RBI.  Evan Kenneally collected Columbiana’s other single while Ryan Fahs tallied an RBI.

Columbiana will be back in action Monday as they return to EOAC play when they travel to Wellsville to take on the Tigers.
