Clippers Learn Valuable Lessons as Spring Training Comes to a Close

The Clippers traveled to Austintown on a sunny but chilly Saturday afternoon to close out spring training with a Varsity-JV twinbill against the Falcons.  Being tested for the first time, Columbiana struggled on the scoreboard, but learned valuable baseball lessons heading into opening day Monday.

The Clippers closed out the spring with a number of positives and head into the regular season with a high outlook on the upcoming season at both levels.

The Varsity will open up with an EOAC contest Monday at Legion Field against the rival East Palestine Bulldogs.  The Jv’s will open its season on Tuesday at home vs. the Western Reserve Blue Devils.  Both games are scheduled to start at 5 PM.
