Summer Speed and Power Workouts

This summer the baseball program along with football and basketball will be running speed and power workouts 3 days a week in order to become better athletes.  It is extremely important for our athletes to develop speed and power in addition to honing his skills as a player.  Most of our student/athletes play multiple sports and the one constant through every sport is the importance of speed, core strength and explosive power.  These workouts are designed to improve all three facets and will be very beneficial to all our baseball players and leg strength, quickness, speed and hip explosion are keys to being successful throughout a 28-30 game season.

I want to make sure that everyone understands that these workouts are not sport specific as they will cover a wide range of skills that all athletes use.

Speed and Power Workouts start June 4th and continue through July 19th.  We are off the week of July 4th.

  • Mondays 5:30-6:45 at the Park
  • Wednesdays 5:30-6:45 at the High School
  • Thursdays 10 AM-11:30 AM at the High School
