As a way to supplement those players who are involved in other sports with conflicting schedules and are not playing summer baseball I have designed an open gym style summer league for all current and former Columbiana baseball players. On the dates listed we will meet at the park, divide into teams and play baseball for a couple hours. This is designed to be a fun way to continue to play the game in the summer for free and still have coaches around to help current players. The games will be serious baseball and the competition will be very good so come ready to play. I will supply all equipment and baseballs for the league.
We will be playing on the following dates: (All games will be played from 6:30-8:30 PM)
- Sunday May 27th
- Thursday June 7th
- Thursday June 14th
- Thursday June 21st
- Sunday June 24th
- Thursday June 28th
- Sunday July 1st
- Thursday July 12th
- Sunday July 15th
- Tuesday July 17th
- Thursday July 19th
In all there are 11 dates. I hope that we get a great turnout and I am looking forward to seeing players over the summer along with former Clippers to compete on our great baseball field at Firestone Park.
