Clippers Fall to Toronto on the River

Box Score

Columbiana (4-10, 3-2) fell to Toronto (13-1) on Monday evening 13-3 in six innings.  The Clippers got off to a fast start scoring 3 runs in the first after four walks and a 2 run single by Evan Kenneally.  Chase Franken (3-4) got the start and pitched well but some faulty defense and timely hitting proved to be too much for Columbiana.

The Red Knights Nolan Clegg settled down after the first inning and was able to pitch a complete game striking out 10 while only giving up 2 hits.  The Clippers second hit came in the 6th inning when AJ Perkins led the inning off with a double.
