Columbiana senior Alex Eusebio has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his baseball career at The College of Wooster. Eusebio is set to become a three-year two-way starter for the Clippers in 2024, and he even saw a good amount of action as a freshman back in 2021, mostly as a pitcher. Alex earned 1st-team Northeast Ohio honors on top of his 1st-team EOAC honors during the 2023 campaign. He was also named to 2nd-team league honors in 2022, as a sophomore. During his career as a pitcher, which is what he will spend his time at Wooster as, Eusebio has amassed 11 wins and 120 strikeouts, with an ERA under 3.00. He has 2 no-hitters to his name, as well. Though set to be a Fighting Scot “P.O.”, as a Clipper, Alex has also been an outstanding position player. He has a career .361 batting average including 13 extra-base hits and 54 RBIs; Eusebio has also crossed the plate 65 times so far, in his 3 seasons. Alex excels on the basketball court as well; he is a 3-year starter for the Clippers on the hardwood. And academically, Eusebio carries a 3.8 GPA.
