As a kickoff to the summer baseball season the Columbiana Clippers will host the United Golden Eagles Saturday at 2 PM for Senior Day. The game will be the first game of the Mahoning Valley HS Summer League season and will serve as a way to honor the seniors who’s 2020 season was lost due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Columbiana and United will honor its seniors at 1:45 before the 2:00 first pitch.
Columbiana’s seniors include:
- Matt Mazei
- Hunter Mackall
- Quenton Cross
- Chase Franken
- Jakob Cross
- Carter Pasco
- Hunter Zentner
- Ryan Fahs
United’s seniors include:
- Brant Hahlen
- Ethan McDevitt
- Austin Minard
Spectators are asked to follow all social distancing protocols and sitting in the stands at Legion will not be allowed. The stands are reserved for the players and coaches as dugouts will not be used.
