Beginning today, I will be running a daily Senior Spotlight about our 8 seniors. Each day will highlight a senior and some of the accomplishments he has made throughout his high school career. The highlights will be run on the website with graphics also posted on Twitter and the Instagram account.
Today’s Senior Spotlight is Hunter Zentner:
Hunter has been a three year starter for the Clippers in centerfield. Additionally to playing baseball he has also been a standout football and basketball player. This past season Hunter earned first team all quad county honors in football. Hunter helped guide the football team to an EOAC championship as a junior and a basketball EOAC championship this season.
Hunter has two sisters (Amanda and Camille). He loves math and has excelled academically all four years at CHS. Hunter is a member of the national honors society, has earned three academic letters and has been on the distinguished honor roll every semester.
What Coach Wolf says:
“It has been a pleasure to coach Hunter for four years in both football and baseball. Hunter has always been with me as a position coach during football so I really have gotten to know him well. We both are big Pirate and Steeler fans and despite the ups and downs of both teams recently it has always been fun to share in the victories and the defeats. Hunter is a fine young man who no doubt will be very successful in life. He is one of the hardest workers I have ever been around and a true team player as Hunter never cares about personal stats and believes that success of the team is truly all that maters. I wish Hunter the best of luck as he heads of to West Virginia University in the fall.”
