With the season quickly approaching, the Clippers hosted Liberty in its 3rd scrimmage of the pre-season. As with the previous two, the Clippers jumped on their opponent early in route to another spring training victory.
Chase Franken, Ryan Fahs and Wayne Davis pitched for the Clippers allowing 3 runs (1 earned) while striking out 10. At the plate, Franken collected 3 hits while Brady Dixon added 2. The Clippers stood strong at the plate as 4 different players were hit by pitches (5 total HBP).
Columbiana will finish of its preseason Saturday as the Clippers will travel to Austintown to take on the Fitch Falcons. Game time is set for 1 PM.
