Clippers Move On With 17-4 Win Over Campbell

(Gamechanger crashed when I got home and I lost the data for the game.  I’m working to get it fixed)

Zach Fahs took the mound for the Clippers Wednesday afternoon against Campbell Memorial at historic Roosevelt Park looking to help the Clippers move on in the OHSAA Division III Tournament.  Fahs did just that and more, as he pitched a six inning complete game helping lead Columbiana to a 17-4 victory.  Fahs allowed 4 runs (3 earned) on 4 hits while striking out 5.  Fahs also went 4-5 at the plate with 2 doubles and knocked in 5 runs to help his own cause.

The Clippers in total would tally 13 hits including 3 from Huntner Zentner and 2 from Michael Ginocchi.  Joe Bable and Chase Franken would each double and knock in a pair.

Columbiana (11-13) moves on to the sectional final against #1 seed Canton Central Catholic.  The game will be played at Central Catholic’s high school with a first pitch scheduled for 5:00 PM.
