The 2018 season officially begins tomorrow!! There are high hopes of another successful season with a new league and a lot of new faces around the diamond. Many of our players have been working hard all off-season ready for this day to come. As always stay tuned here and on twitter for all your Clipper updates. For weekly information check out the Coaches Corner page every Sunday.
Practice Schedule this week:
- Monday: 3-5 pm
- Tuesday: 3-5 pm (basketball game at 7 vs. West Branch…root on your classmates and teammates)
- Wednesday: 5-7 pm
- Thursday: 3-5 pm
- Friday: 3-5 pm (basketball game @ Salem….root on your classmates and teammates in their last regular season game)
- Saturday: TBA
Players are reminded they must have pants (baseball preferred), long sleeve shirt or 3/4 and a hat for the first week of practice. Practice jerseys and pants (for those who need them) will be handed out at the end of the week.
Also, be prepared to go outside every day this week. We will utilize the track to throw and do fielding work when we can. This week the temperatures seems pretty good (73 on Tuesday!!) so as long as it isn’t raining we plan to do all throwing and fielding outside.
**Any player who does not have a physical will not be allowed to participate in practice until one is turned in. Any paperwork not turned in will prevent players from practicing also**
Let’s have a great first week as we prepare for an exciting 2018 season in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference.
