Blue Jays Down Clippers 3-0

Eric Ostrowski pitched a complete game shutout for Jackson Miltion (18-4) as the Blue Jays defeated the Clippers (20-7) 3-0 Friday night.

Chase Franken (6-1) got the start and pitched four innings allowing four hits and three runs (two earned).  Zach Fahs finished the game throwing two scoreless innings while striking out three.

Franken was 3-3 at the plate including two doubles.  Zach Fahs and Keenan Green each singled as the Clippers were held to just five hits on the day.  Mitch Davidson reached a milestone for Columbiana breaking the career at bats record with this 301st official at bat in the first inning.  He now holds the hits and at bat records at Columbiana.

The Clippers will finish off the 2017 campaign on Saturday when they will host the Blue Devils of Western Reserve.  First pitch is scheduled for 11 am with senior recognition’s scheduled to begin at 10:45.
