Clippers Have Memorable Experience at PNC Park

Pittsburgh:

The Clippers (17-4) played a pair of games Sunday at PNC Park, the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.  In the first game Seneca Valley jumped on the Clippers for eight runs in the first.  Columbiana responded with one in the bottom of the frame and played to a 2-2 tie the rest of the way eventually falling 10-3.
On the mound Zach Fahs pitched three shutout innings while AJ Perkins had a scoreless frame in the 7th.  At the plate, Chase Franken, Keenan Green, Jake Clark and Vince Vivo all had hits.  Clark knocked in one run and Vivo two.
In game two, the Rams of Highlands were propelled by three five run innings.  The Clippers answered with three two run frames themselves but it was not enough as Columbiana fell 15-6.
Columbiana collected 9 hits in game two including two from Mitch Davidson.  Davidson had a triple and knocked in a pair of runs.  Franken, Green and Clark also each had hits in game two with Green ripping a double to the gap.  Zach Fahs, Dustin Bennett, Connor Stacey and Erik Hofpenziz rounded out the nine hits with singles of their own.
