Clippers fall to East Palestine 14-6

East Palestine (7-7) came out hitting Friday afternoon and did not stop handing the Clippers (11-2) their second loss of the season.  Zach Fahs (2-1) got the start for Columbiana and took his first loss.

At the plate, Chase Franken lead the Clippers with three hits and two rbi’s.  Mitch Davidson collected two hits along with a double and an rbi.  Erik Hopfenziz reached based three times on the day with two singles and a hit by pitch.

Columbiana will look to rebound on Saturday when the Clippers will host the Liberty Leopards in a double header at Firestone Park.  First pitch is scheduled for Noon.
