Game one was a tight one throughout as Liberty took an early 1-0 lead in the first and a 3-1 lead in the third but the Clippers continued to answer right back.  Clark went the distance posting eight strikeouts while only walking one.  He gave up three runs (one earned) in his seven innings of work.  Clark also added two sacrifice flies and a pair of RBI’s on the day.  Mitch Davidson, Chase Franken and Keenan Green led the offense in the comeback win.  Davidson was 2-2 on the day with two triples and an rbi.  Franken also tripled during his 2-3 day and scored three runs.  Green went 1-3 with two rbi’s.

After a tight game one, the Clippers exploded for 12 runs in the first inning in game two to put the contest out of reach for the Leopards.  Perkins was strong on the mound going four solid innings giving up two runs (0 earned) on three hits while striking out two.  Even Kenneally pitched the fifth in his first varsity action.  At the plate, a number of Clippers contributed in their 11 hit attack.  Franken continued to stay hot, going 2-2 and scoring three runs.  Zach Fahs collected two hits and drew two walks on the day while Davidson and Green each had a hit.  Tim Davin and Clark each had two rbi’s for Columbiana. Vince Vivo, Dustin Bennett and Perkins each also collected a hit.
