Columbiana moved to 8-0 on the season with an 8-1 win over the Girard Indians Thursday afternoon. Jake Clark picked up his second win of the season in his complete game outing. Clark scattered five hits, giving up one earned run while walking two and striking out nine.
At the plate, the Clippers were led by Tim Davin and Seth Ross who each had doubles on the day. Chase Franken went 3-4 including two rbi’s and two runs scored. Mitch Davidson added a hit and an rbi as well.
Columbiana is back in action tomorrow when they will travel to Burton, Ohio to take on Berkshire. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
