Jackson Milton Beats Clippers 11-4

The Jackson Milton Blue Jays handed the Columbiana Clippers their second defeat of the season with an 11-4 victory Tuesday afternoon at Firestone Park.

The Clippers collected 8 hits on the day with Keenan Green leading the way for Columbiana. Green collected two hits and scored a run while  Dylan Davin had a double and run.  Brandon Johnston had an RBI single in fifth in his first varsity at bat.  Mitch Davison, Josh Herbert and Matt  Weidner also collected RBI’s.

On the mound, Jake Clark took the loss (0-1) giving up 5 runs (1 earned) in two innings of work.  Josh Herbert (3.2 innings) and Tim Davin (1.1 innings) finished the game for the Clippers.

Columbiana will look to bounce back Wednesday as they take on the Blue Devils of Western Reserve in their first road contest of the year.  First pitch is scheduled for 5 pm with Devin Rice on the mound for the Clippers.
